We are relieved that the political situation in Bolivia has calmed. While there is still a degree of uncertainty, markets and roads are reopened, and daily life has returned to normal. Several new policies have come about as result, including the removal of the visa requirement, which allows us to return with volunteers to our project. In addition, Bolivia has reopened diplomatic relations with the United States, so we hope to apply for some funding for cultural exchange in the next year.
We appreciate your support and hope that elections will happen without incident this year and that people will feel safe in their communities and that they have a voice in decision making for their regions and the country as a whole. Thank you for your support.
