Thank you friends for helping Lavanya continue her studies inspite of hailing from a poor family and losing her parent when she was young.
It has been quite a journey. Through the help of relatives, Pravallika joined Sphoorti in 2011. Through discipline and hard work, she was able to pursue education. We have raised a total of $500 for her from GlobalGiving and other sources.
We spent 40% on tuition fee and related fees/expenses while the rest was spent on food, clothing and transportation and on online courses and attending webinars/seminars.
She hopes to pursue Engineering in the near future. She will bring laurels to her family and Sphoorti and donors.
