So far this year we have already assisted 11 American battered mothers with 27 children who were desperate to understand how the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction and the UCCJEA, Unform Child Custody & Jurisdiction Enforcement Act would impact them as they are planning to flee back home to the USA for safety from eight different foreign countries.
Your donations make it possible for us to help these victims navigate a very complicated international treaty that was originally drafted to protect custodial mothers, but has now turned into a tool of power and control for abusers.
While these situations seem hopeless, and they are heartbreaking, you give them hope and possibility by supporting this project.
Thank you from the Pathways Team!
