This microproject will raise funds for a poor child Raghavendra who has secured admission in National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad. The fee is almost $4000 per annum and beyond the means of his parents. His father is a weaver and mother is a home-maker.
Raghu's parents are handloom weavers in Pochampally. Their financial status has been in a bad shape since Covid19. Raghu is a very hard working child. He has got admission in BA-LLB, a five year Law program in NALSAR, a premier Law School in Hyderabad. He scored 7.8 GPA in the first year. He needs help for paying his College Fee (Rs 175,000) and Hostel Fee (Rs 100,000 p.a.) + miscellaneous expenses (Rs 10,000 p.a.). The total requirement is $4000 p.a. for the second year
This project fuels Raghu's dream to pursue a career in Law by providing him education along with essential needs like food, clothing, and shelter along with shoes, bags, travel costs, health care and required material to study well for a year. Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 200 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
