Challenge

This project will solve the problem of computer illiteracy for several youths who will be able to attend a basic computer training session for 1 week. These disadvantaged youths have unfortunately not received any computer training and this is a barrier to employment mobility. The project will lift this barrier by providing this essential and high-in-demand training.

Solution

The funds from this project will cover instruction costs - enabling them to acquire the vital, needed computer skills. The basic computer proficiency training provided will equip the youths for success. They will be provided with a comprehensive training / reference manual that they can use in the future.

Long-Term Impact

This training is transforming the lives of participants as it broadens their options and offers new opportunities. Youths & young adults become computer literate and proficient - and consequently viable and competitive in the market place.
