Nu's Back to School
Since Nu and and his parents have moved to live in Bangkok, the 11 year old boy has had to undergo much adjustment , especially being back to school.
Having missed schooling for about 1 school term, he was much stressed when he had to study in Grade 4 with those of his age, since he had missed school for about 6 months. As a result of this change, he began to have gastic problems and was very much unwilling to go to school, even though his dad kept on trying to persuade him.
At the same time, the foundation also helped his mom with seed fund so that she can start her small food stall in the neighbourhood compound. Meanwhile the Foundation continues to provide Nu's dad with a job and giving him various financial and other practical help, so that he would be able to help his family to re-integrate back to life in the city.
After much persuasion and various medical consultations, Nu is getting better in his health (tummy upsets) and beginning to make attempts to get back to school, with his mother starting her own stall selling north-eastern food that she is good at making.
Thank you, sponsor, for your help and partnership, for the life of a little boy and his family.
With appreciation,
Vena lung
