Nikhita 's parents are extremely poor and cannot afford education of her. With hard work, she completed her High School with a GPA of 7.9 and Intermediate with 70%. She recently got admission for BSc in Computer Science in Bhavan's Degree College in Hyderabad. Your generosity will give her an opportunity to pursue a career in Computer Science. This project solves the problem of poverty and ignorance for one extremely poor girl. Her father is a landless laborer and her mother is a mentally deranged person and often gets violent. Without proper support, Nikhita would have stopped studies and ended up as an unemployed or unskilled bonded labor all her life. Higher education will ensure that Nikhita becomes a qualified Software Professional.
By sponsoring Undergraduate education (Comp Science) along with living expenses, travel expenses, computer, library access, shoes, required material to study well, the project makes it possible for Nikhita to complete Bachelors in Computer Science and look forward to a good job or higher studies. Her success story can inspire more underprivileged children to think big and lead a successful life.
The project will provide education to 200 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
