Thank you for caring neglected elders

Warm greetings from CHHASE.

Thank you for your generous contributions towards caring the lonely, neglected elder women through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

As part of the CHHASE social responsibility, we are identifying the economically disadvantaged, neglected elder people in rural areas, where they are facing lot of problems to escape starvation, clothing and timely medical support to the elderly people. These are their main problems to pull on their life, though they are neglected by their own blood relations, neighbours etc.

We are providing meals, clothing and medical care to the elders. With this timely support the elders are happy and feel that they are in safety. CHHASE provide not only food support, we have provided warm clothing, shelter and medical treatment for them with love. when they feel that there is some one to care and love them, they are more confident and feel that they are safe and secure.

One of your beneficiary said " I am a widow. i lost my husband 25 years back.My husband left me a small piece of land. I have cultivated this land and the income what i got was not sufficient to look after my three children. I lost two of my children in a road accident. From then, i looked after my only son with care and sent him to school. But he was not interested in education. he became as agriculture labor. unforyunately he started consuming alcohal.

Some how he has got married and told me that he is going to start a small business. I sold the land and gave him the money.But after getting money, he became addict to alcohal.

my daughter in law also left him and went to her parents home.before four years my son also went of some were and till today, i don't know whether he is alive or not.after he left me, i am left alone and struggling for food. In this age and sickness, i am unable to work. From then, i started beg for food. I was introduced to CHHASE NGO by my villagers. Now i am under their care and feel safe and secure.

I thank CHHASE NGO donors for helping me.

It was not possible for us to do such a relief work and service without your generosity. The elders not only thanked us, but they conveyed their best wishes for what you did.The elders are very happy for this kind of gesture and expressed their sincere gratitude.
