I apologize for any inconvenience, but I am resending this update with corrected links to our other microprojects. The links in the previous update had broken links.
With your help, McKenlee meets Zeus. Our grant was paid at the end of November so that this could take place. This team is working together to fine-tune their skills. McKenlee's family reports they are just learning to work together and are working hard on what they learned during the 2 week camp they attended. They believe Zeus is already starting to show signs of alerting before the onset of a seizure but it does take some work to figure out exactly that. Zeus has been trained to push an alarm should McKenlee have a seizure.

The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation grants comfort and hope to those affected by epilepsy through providing monitoring resources, vital information, and a safe haven for conversation and community. Our main goal is to raise awareness of SUDEP and to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families living with epilepsy.
We raise funds to provide education about SUDEP and to provide seizure response dog grants and movement monitors that help to protect against SUDEP. SUDEP is an acronym for Sudden Unexpected (Unexplained) Death in Epilepsy.
We stay up-to-date on current trends in medical technology in order to be able to provide the most effective devices as they become available. We respect the value and quality of life of every person living with epilepsy.
We are dedicated to providing opportunities that allow individuals and families greater independence, increased confidence, ability to enjoy social environments, and community understanding.
Thank you again for your support!
