Dear friends,
Thank you very much for extending support to our student Kavya. We raised $2000 towards her living and education-related expenses. Out of $2000, $ 700 were spent on her food, $120 on clothing, $80 on her personal expenses like face powder, soaps etc and the rest on studies - books and school bag and health and transportation and hostel fees.
She is currently staying in a private hostel. Next year, she is hopeful of joining a good Engineering College. She comes from a very poor family. Her father passed away a few years ago. Mother depends on government welfare support.
In spite of such hardships, Kavya is very ambitious. She wants to land a job in a good software company in future and take care of her mother
