Rajasthani Handicraft vocational education training for livelihood development is being organised at Nagra Bhatta, a slum in Ajmer district surrounded by the Aravali Ranges. This project is being organised by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of Global Giving Foundation.

Meera: - Meera is an ordinary girl, belongs to a Dalit family, taking participate in Handicraft Training Education Camp. Meera is extensively poor but talented. When she came to know about Handicraft vocational education, she applied for the training and now she is learning Rajasthani handicraft as paper meshy, ceremic craft, bandarwar, doorbell and wall hanging with dedication and interest. The talent Meera has got in her hands is god gifted. She is making beautiful artwork of handicraft at present. The products made by her liked by all the visitors.

Meera says, "I shall alleviate the poverty of the family and improve the living standard by establishing handicraft self-employment." She also says, "that the handicraft training brings a new ray of hope to her life. I am damn sure to be a successful tradesman. I thank from the core of my heart to Global Giving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan for the significant change I have in my life and also request to organise such programs in future for the economic empowerment of poor girls like me."
