A little while ago you donated money to help Gideon go to school and work towards his dream of becoming an engineer. The Africa SOMA team, and Gideon wanted to take this time to thank you again for your generosity.
When asked what he would like to tell Africa SOMA donors who helped pay for his high school scholarship, Gideon told us "I would like to appreciate them for paying my school fees because if it were not for them I would not have seen the door to high school." But Gideon's thankfulness did not end there. He pointed out how much this scholarship is helping not only him achieve his educational aspirations but his sister's as well. "I would also want to appreciate them for helping my parents by paying my school fees because if it were not, they could not have been able to pay my sisters fees."
Gideon also added that he would like to tell donors "to continue helping us because this is good." While we know there are many wonderful causes in need of support we ask that you please consider donating to Africa SOMA scholarship winners again in the future.
On behalf of Gideon, his parents, his sister and the entire Africa SOMA team we'd like to express our gratitude.
