By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your help to those affected by the bad weather condition in Cagayan de Oro. Situation is back to normal now as the flood waters have subsided. With your generous help, we decided to provide warm meals to 135 young kids who have already returned to their respective schools. We selected poor communities in the area and linked-up with school teachers and mothers who assisted in preparing the food and helping the children to eat. We are thinking of continuing this initiative as we found out that many children living in poor neighborhoods are malnourished and need food support. Their parents usually earns income by driving for hire motorcycle, vending in the street or doing odd jobs of richer neighbors.
Again thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
