Carlos is hardworking and loving 21-year-old young father from Buenaventura, Valle, a busy town in the Colombian pacific coast. Carlos lost his leg in a bicycle accident on his way to work 2 years ago. Back then he was a newlywed with a baby girl on the way. Since the accident Carlos takes care of his baby as best he can on his crutches, while his wife goes to work. With his new leg Carlos is now able to use his arms to carry his baby standing up! And better yet he will be able to play around with her and take her of her properly! And maybe find work to give her and his wife better life.
Carlos lost his leg on a terrible biking accident, while going to work one day, he just had been married and was expecting a baby daughter. Without his leg, he lost his job and his wife had to find work to take care of their family. But now, thanks to your generosity he can now find work again and take care of his wife and baby for the first time!
With your help Mahavir Kmina provided Carlos with a new leg, with this new prostheses he will be able to use his hands while taking care of his daughter, play and run around with her and eventually find a job to give her a better life and better opportunities. His wife told us that with his new leg he is feeling happier, more productive and she has seen increase his self-esteem and self-worth. Carlos couldn't be happier with this new opportunity to walk to a better future!
Thank you!
