Microproject Report
Spay and Neuter Campaing
An axis of action, perhaps the most important for ANIMALIX AC are the castration and sterilization campaigns for dogs and cats, because they are the only way to avoid unnecessary reproduction of animals whose destination will be the street. With this microproject we wanted to obtain $ 1,500.00 dollars, which would help to partially finance a sterilization campaign for 600 animals.
Due to not knowing the operating rules, we uploaded the microproject to the GlobalGiving platform out of time, therefore the resources that we raised $ 379.00 dollars (we did not reach the goal), were deposited to us after we had already carried out the aforementioned campaign, which It actually took place on November 16 and 17, 2019.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the resources that were generously donated to us were used in the original purpose and thanks to this, 15 animals underwent surgeries between the months of December and January, they were: Leia, pulguita, sissiux, Tormenta, Tomasa, Vaquita, Pelusa, Blanquito, Cafecito, Winner, York, Mila, Kami and Bombón. Fortunately they are all animals that were rescued from the street and later adopted by their rescuers.
