We can't thank you enough for helping Geneva & Sage come home. While this microproject did not raise all of the funds to bring them home, we were able to secure another source of funding to reach our goal of $1,200. It took longer than we had hoped to get them home, they are in a safe housing situation. Geneva has filed for emergency custody of Sage through the lawyer we were able to find.
Geneva is slowly feeling better. Here are a few words from an email she wrote to us. "Now that we have been back for a little while I feel the fear slowly subsiding. Sage is happy and laughs a lot. She keeps me going. I don't know what I would have done without you. One day I will find a way to help other mothers and children too."
