With so many business leaders considering workforce readiness an imperative, it is critical that we expand students' horizons by bridging the gap between the corporate sector and our community's schools. When students are immersed in the workforce readiness topics of the Junior Achievement curriculum, they are learning 21st Century skills through the lens of the real world, interacting with business professionals who provide a framework of relevance to the workplace.
Students participating in JA Economics for Success will internalize age appropriate lessons taught using engaging activities that combine the best of contextual learning and academic rigor. They gain the tools of financial literacy, insight into career and educational options, understanding of the entrepreneurial skills that create opportunities, and the methods by which they can use this knowledge to cultivate their future success.
