Power of Love's pediatric HIV care program provides a suite of services to children living with HIV so that they can live close to normal/normal lives. The children receive food, medicines, psychosocial counseling, education in HIV, and monitoring and training in adherence to medication. The families receive counseling and training in HIV care so that the child is under the care of a trained caregiver 24/7. As a result, all 500 children are stable in health and all, but four children have undetectable viral loads. With better health, 95% of school age children are in school and our goal is for all children to graduate high school, get gainful employment, and be able to take good care of their families.
Thank you for giving teh gift of health and education to children living with HIV in Zambia.
