Thank you so much for your donation to help fund schooling and housing for Thinley. Our project has now been retired, and we wanted to let you know what a typical day at the monastery school that Thinley attends is like. School is currently in session at the Bon Monastery in Dolanji, India. The following report was recently sent to us by one of the monks at the monastery.
These days the children are going to school during schooling time. Below you will see their schedule:

6:45-7:15am – Breakfast
7:15-7:45am – Dress in School Uniform
7:45-8:50am – Morning Study

The students are divided in to four houses. When the children are not studying they are cleaning and organizing various competitions between these houses including games, essay-writing competitions in both English and Tibetan, costume contests, acting, calligraphy, poem recitation, and physical fitness.
The pictures that we have included in this report depict the morning view from the monastery and morning prayer.
Thank you again for supporting our project to give the gift of schooling to Thinley. Your donation is truly helping to change a life. Thank you.
