Eid Mubarak and thank you to all the donors who ensured funding for this project.
Thanks to your generosity, instead of giving out lunch boxes, we arranged pizza, ice cream and cake, along with soft drinks. The orphans were over the moon. Such a special, yummy and indulgent Eid lunch for them. Our team also sat with the orphans, spent time with them and learned about their day to day lives, dreams and passions.
Chotoo (name changed), 6, also got a special Eid Mubarak cupcake because he helped turn on the fans for lunch time. The orphanage wanted us to encourage the children to be helpful and so we brought not only treats and food to indulge in, but also "reward" treats.
Chotoo's face lit up when he got his reward and he started to strut around, before our very eyes. These precious and priceless moments, we and they will always remember, but it wouldn't be possible without your wonderful generosity and support. Thank you!
Please do earmark this special cause annually so we can continue to bring sunshine and sustainance into the lives of these orphans.
