Julieth is a sweet and shy 11 year-old, from the small village of Tuchin, Cordoba, in the northen region of Colombia, saddly like many children in rutal Colombia, Julieth was a victim of domestic violence and lost one of her legs as a result, she was so deeply traumatized that she can't even remeber loosing her little leg. But we are happy to report that that thanks to your genrosity Mahavir Kmina provided a prothesis for Julieth and now she can walk, play and grow strong everyday putting her troubled past behind
Her mother assured us that since getting her new leg she can see traces of her lively and happy daughter before the incident. She is starting to leave her shyness behind and to talk a little more. She said to us the day she got her new custom leg, she will not be embarrased to go to school anymore because now she can jump rope with her friends and walk to the blackboard. Julieth had a terrible experience and was so shaken by it that she does not remember exactly how it happen, but now her greatest wish to walk again and leave all the sadness behind is a reality thanks to you.
With your help, we provided Julieth with a prosthesis that will allow her to overcome the traumas of her past and shine like the bright little girl she is. Her mother reports that the new leg is helping her to gradually get her self-confidence back.
In the name of Julieth and her family we want to thank you for believing in us and giving us the chance to give this little angel the opportunity to happily walk to a better future.
