Our environment gets its greenery from trees and plants, and the verdant environment is made beautiful by tiny innocent bird - sparrow, whose melodious voice makes the environment and the surrounding mirthful. But now the rapid deforestation is vanishing plants and trees, hence the natural habitat of sparrow is also being destroyed which has an adverse effect on the population of this innocent bird and due to lack of habitat sparrow have to flee to other places.
Therefore, Rajasthan Samgrah kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of Global Giving, has installed eco-friendly nests at 11 distinct places for proper conservation and reproduction of the innocent bird - sparrow. The activists of the organisation selected green places to install nests which are favourable for sparrow as patio in houses, community halls, temples, high trees, parks etc. The activists take care of seed & water requirements of sparrow and maintain the nests regularly and their reproduction and growth is also under consideration.
"Save the Innocent Sparrow", managed by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of Global Giving has significant effect. Sparrow has got their habitat and now growing in number, some nests now have shriek of fledglings. All the installed nests have become the centre of attraction among people and the shriek of sparrow made the environment and surrounding joyful and has brought a wave of joy and positive energy. Being inspired by the noble work of Global Giving, localites are also installing eco-friendly nests at their places and contributing to conserve sparrow.
