Buna prieteni! (that's Hello Friends! in Romanian)
After succesfully creating the first indoor/outdoor playspace at the Barlad orphanage for children with disabilities, we were eager to begin planning for an accessible playground. With your donation, we have been able to get started.
Laura Larkin, CEO of The Delia Foundation, and I will be in Barlad in early May and at that time we will be meeting with the Director of the orphanage. The Director has been eager to have outdoor play equipment and will be so thrilled to learn that we are on our way toward giving the children this gift. We do expect it to take time to continue fundraising and scope out the proper accessible equipment to meet the needs of the children.
