Respected Donor Namaste!!
Many Greetings from RSKS India!
We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
In rural areas, it is often seen that women have to wander in search of employment as there is lack of resources suitable for women employment in rural areas. Women have to work in others fields to earn and do labour then to they don't get remuneration according to their hard work. As the economic condition of their families not so good, they are unable to start self-employment. In short, women are not inspired for self-employment in rural areas.
In order to promote self-employment in rural areas, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan distributed goats to 10 poor and deprived rural women. Goat is also known as "Cow of the poor", considering the view Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors, distributed 10 goats to rural women. These marginalized peasant women are associated with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan through self-help groups which has been beneficial for them. The initiative of the organization promoted self-employment in rural areas. Now, these women earn sustainable income by selling milk of the goats as well as they are producing compost manure by organic waste which is so useful for farming. They are selling compost manure to the farmers which not only increases the income of these women but also increasing the agricultural produce.
The Story of IMPACT ........
Our representative had conversation with one the rural women, Jivani. She told that she had 3 children and she worked in others fields to nurture the family. After doing hard labour in the fields, she somehow managed to earn a little which was not enough to meet the family's basic requirements. She couldn't save funds to buy cattle. After joining self-help group with the support of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, she got a healthy and milch goat that she milks every day and sells its mild and earns a sustainable income by selling the milk. Moreover, she manufactures compost manure from the organic waste of the goat to earn an additional income. The family members look after and care the goat, even they have named it "Lado". Now, some positive changes have been noticed in the life of Jivani as she is able to provide better education and health to her children for which she thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation.
The Views By Community ......
The activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan met women representative of the village and discussed the changes brought to the living standard of peasant women. The women representative of the village told that the local women didn't have resources for employment due to which they had to do labour in others fields and grazed cattles. Their economic conditions didn't allow them to buy cattles. But now, these women have self-reliant with the support of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and earning a sustainable income by goat rearing which have brought some changes to their lives. The credit goes for Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, Donor's and GlobalGiving Foundation.
