The micro project will provide goats of good breed to 10 poor deprived women of rural areas for betterment of their livelihood and these women will be able to increase their earning by goat rearing which will lead them to have a better life.
Unemployment is the major problem at rural Ajmer area. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for the villagers but due to scarcity of water they depend on rain water only which has brought down the yield. In this situation, adverse effects can be easily observed on children education, living standard, livelihood.
In India, goat is considered as the cow of the poor because it provides milk, manure and meat to the animal rearer and eats thorny bushes, leaves etc. Goat rearing will definitely increase the earnings of women and there may be some sort of reduction can be noticed in unemployment.
Goat rearing will get 10 poor deprived women a better livelihood which will boost their confidence. They will be able to meet basic requirements of family as children education by selling milk, manure and meat which they will get from goat rearing and the poverty will definitely get reduced.
