We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Our society has been perceived woman as bird being captive in her own place for centuries. Women were only allowed to talk to their family members for the sake of their freedom. They were confined to the manacle of conservative traditions and customs. They didn't have any support to become self-reliant due to which they couldn't become self-reliant. As time passes, with the development of human society women have proved them in almost every field. But, in rural areas, the problem still exists and is an acute one. Rural women don't get enough opportunities to be employed as there are limited resources of earnings in rural areas and that restircts them to depend on their family members.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan to make rural women empowered and self-reliant has provided them sustainable source of livelihood. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan gave goats to 3 poor and helpless women members of self-help groups with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation. All three women got happy to have goats as they had a source of livelihood at their home.
All three women give green grass and fodder to goats that makes the goats healthy and they give milk twice a day by selling which these 3 women earn to support their families to meet the family expenses. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan often conducts inspection and notice the changes brought to these womens' life. Now, all the women have become self-reliant and able to nurture their family and giving better education to their children. All of this makes the future of these women and their families bright. One of the women activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan enquired about the changes came to their life and explained :.......
The IMPACT Story:-
My name is Laxmi and I'm 44 years old. I got associated with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan a year ago through self-help group. My family and I were facing severe economic crisis that time due to which my children had to leave study. Some time ago, I was given a goat by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation. I started selling goat milk in my village that earned me good income. Then, I let my children to resume their study that could be possible just because of the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan. I am thankful to GlobalGiving Foundation and all the donors for their support that helped me to become self-reliant.
