Final Project Report: Support 5 Underprivileged Girls in +2 College Education

By Joseph Anthony A Chukka | Project Leader

Dear Donor,

Namaste and warm greetings!

We are delighted to share the final progress report for our micro-project, "Support 5 Underprivileged Girls in +2 College Education." This initiative aimed to provide crucial support to five deserving girls pursuing their Intermediate (+2) course, a vital step towards their university education. Each of these students carries a unique and challenging story, having faced poverty or the loss of parents at a young age, with some having grown up in the BASS Children's Home since childhood.

We are incredibly proud to report on their remarkable progress in their Intermediate First Year. All five girls successfully completed their 10th standard and were admitted to college in 2024. They have all successfully passed their first year with first-class results! This outstanding achievement is a true testament to their dedication and your invaluable support. Three students are now pursuing Chartered Accountancy foundation courses, while two are enrolled in MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) courses.

These promising young women are enrolled in highly-regarded private colleges, which entail substantial annual fees of approximately $1200 per student. While they have successfully completed their first year and are now preparing for their second, our micro-project unfortunately did not meet its fundraising goal. We received $290 out of the requested $3200, which will be used to cover a partial fee for one student.

To ensure these bright futures continue to blossom, we kindly request your continued support.

Please consider sponsoring a student with $600 or contributing any amount you can to our new project.

Please Donate to support Girls

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of these deserving students and help them achieve their dreams.

Thank you so much for your unwavering help and generosity.

With sincere gratitude,
