Thank you so much for supporting S's education and living for one year.

Sphoorti children are doing good, they have moved to the higher classes after Annual examinations. Al the children are back from Summer break.

We are happy to share updates about our activities over the last few months.

Your sponsored child S has been doing well in herstudies. She scored 7.8 GPA (on a 10 point scale) in the recently held Annual Examinations. She is among the top 5 in her class and has moved to STD IV.

For the summer break, S went to her Uncle's house in Hyderabad.

In the academic year 2017-18, Sphoorti will be supporting more than 200 children. Children between 5 and 15 are in Dundigal campus. They go to Government run Primary School (Sri Rangavaram Village) and Secondary School (Gowdavally village) in Medchal district.

More than 40 children are in different residential colleges in Hyderabad. 8 children are in Degree College and one is in Engineering College pursuing Aeronautical Engineering.

This year 4 children joined BSc course and 4 children will join Engineering.

In the last academic year, our children received 63 prizes. 58 students scored more than 7.5 in their Annual examinations.

Since November 2016, our children participated in various events like New Year Celebrations, Republic Day celebrations and Science Fair in Krushi Home. Our children took part in Republic Day celebrations in our premises as well as in the school premises on Jan 26th.

In the last 4 months,

1. Two children won scholarships in National Merit cum Means Scholarship examination

2. Two children won Scholarship under the ULLAS Scheme instituted by Polaris.

3.16 children participated in Taekwondo Belt-testing and moved from White to Yellow Belt.

4. For the first time in the history of the school, Annual Day celebrations were organized by the school authorities with support from Sphoorti and our corporate partners.

20 children appeared for STD X Board examinations while 26 children appeared for Intermediate examinations held in March.
