Every month we rescue up to 50 dogs who live on the street - suffering from broken bones, deadly diseases, weakened immune systems and more. The average cost to cover the medicine and food needed to move a dog from hurt to healed is $50. If you can help us raise $5000 this week, then that helps up to 100 dogs in need.
Help us turn streets into safe havens for dogs. $5,000 helps 100 homeless street dogs go from hurt to healed. Not only does this amount cover the cost of the cost of medication, supplies, and food, but it also gives them a safe and peaceful place full of love. A little goes a long way in Dharamsala India and your support means the world to us and the street dogs.
Our mission is to create a better world for animals and people by ending the human/street dog conflict.DAR focuses on five main programs, ABC (Animal Birth Control), Rabies Eradication, Street Animal Rescue, Humane Education and Community Outreach, and Adoption. In addition to rescuing and rehabilitating these dogs, we also spay/neuter them, vaccinate them for rabies, and deworm them, in and effort to create a stabilized population of community dogs who are healthy, happy and disease free. Your donation does not just help the one dog, but it helps to change a community.
