In the last days of August, MSD and our CSO partners promptly conducted to provide 40 emergency support packages to the vulnerable families in Ho Chi Minh City.
Although we met many challenges such as scarcity of the food, travel restriction, difficult approach with the families in lockdown restrictions, we still tried our best to support the families Each package include: food (rice, eggs, milk, cooking oil,...), and hygene (soap, toothpaste, brushes, masks,…). The package is estimated to be used within 1 - 2 months for a family of 4 – 5 people.
Our benefitciaries are the poor and unofficial labours, unemployees, disabilities, families with children and the old and people who do not have personal identification. The support packages will continue to be provided to the families in the next few days.
"All difficulties, fatigues are nothing compared to our happiness when gifting support packages to the families." - Ms Nguyen Trinh - a nun of Ai Linh Charity School shared, after she gifted the support packages to the families.
