Thank you for all your generous support towards destitute women, older people for their nutritious food.
Girijamma, 58 years old destitute woman living in Harijanawada slum of Kurnool Town of Andhra Pradesh. She used to work in the Market yard as daily wage labour in Kurnool. During the job time, she converted as commercial sex worker and continued in the same profession. She had one and only daughter with visually challenging problem. Daughter got married and living with her husband in different village.
Girijamma was continuing her profession till the age of 50 years. Due to ill-health she is not able to do any kind of work either small or big. Some times she will be on the bed for many days due to health problems. In this case by seeing her critical juncture SERUDS Charity providing food includes Steamed Cooked Rice, Dhal, Vegetable Curry, Egg, Leafy vegetables chutney, traditional pickles, Curd. With this nutritious diet, her health standards have been improved.
