The next session of Girls Engineering Change has been fully funded! We have a group of middle school girls scheduled to attend a session in the upcoming month, and they will bring 15 girls into a Duke university lab. Each of these girls will be given full access to a medical device assembly kit and all equipment necessary to complete the project. They will go through a full curriculum where university students will help them to assemble their low cost medical devices and encourage them to prsue a degree in engineering or STEM. The group and volunteers are very excited at this prospect, and because of generous donations we are currently able to purchase all necessary materials. Thank you!
