Major THANKS to our donors

By Kimberly Bautista | Executive Director

Major thanks for supporting the production of Este Cuerpo es Mio by Rebeca Lane!

We're pleased to share that the video now has 148,940 views! Check it out here

We've been able to exhibit the music video at various venues in Los Angeles, including the Downtown Independent and CineArte Queer Latinx Film Festival.

A huge professional impact resulted from this video: 50% of the Nuevas Novelas participants who partook in production went on to get offered other paid gigs and internship opportunities after shadowing this production. If you're interested in changing the face of Hollywood and helping us to bring more LGBTQ youth and young women of color to the filmmaking industry, please see our more recent campaign here: www.nuevasnovelas.com

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to continue denouncing gender-based violence through film. Consider becoming a monthly donor of our campaign, with a donation of any size! $10 a month makes a big impact for us and our students.

In solidarity,

Kimberly Bautista

Executive Director, Justice for My Sister Collective
