Every young person deserves the opportunity to develop skills that can help them navigate the future with confidence. In an increasingly digital economy, computer literacy is becoming one of the foundations for participation in education, employment and entrepreneurship.
Our Youth Computer Skilling Program is an investment in that future.
The program provides underserved young people with opportunities to gain practical digital knowledge through guided training and hands-on learning. Rather than focusing only on theoretical lessons, we aim to create an environment where youth can practice skills, ask questions, solve problems and gradually build confidence.
The program can help participants develop foundational abilities such as typing, creating documents, organizing information, using digital communication tools, conducting responsible online research and understanding basic computer applications.
We also want to connect these skills with broader youth development. Through mentorship, participants can explore goal-setting, communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, career preparation and responsible decision-making.
The ultimate goal is to help young people see themselves as capable contributors to their communities rather than passive recipients of support.
Donor funding can make this possible by helping provide computers, equipment, maintenance, training materials, qualified instructors and expanded access for young people who currently have limited opportunities to develop digital skills.
Every training session represents an investment in human potential. Every young person who gains confidence with technology has another tool with which to pursue education, work, business or further learning.
