F SSIBU Mission Foundation envisions a community where young people who have dropped out of school can still access meaningful learning opportunities and develop practical skills for their future. To advance this vision, we seek support to establish a digital learning center equipped with 20 computers for school dropouts and vulnerable youth.
The center will provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn, practice and develop confidence with technology. It will serve as a second-chance learning space for young people who may have been left behind by the formal education system.
Through structured training, participants will gain essential computer literacy and practical digital skills. Lessons will cover computer operation, typing, Microsoft Office applications, online research, digital communication, internet safety and introductory digital entrepreneurship. The program will emphasize practical learning so that participants can demonstrate what they have learned through real assignments and projects.
The center can also become a platform for mentorship. Young people will be encouraged to identify their strengths, set personal goals and explore realistic pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship, vocational education or returning to formal learning where possible.
Donor support will provide the foundation for this initiative. Funding will help acquire 20 computers, provide internet connectivity, establish appropriate learning facilities, purchase training materials and maintain the equipment. Support for trainers and program coordination will further ensure that the resources are used effectively.
The investment will have potential benefits beyond the initial beneficiaries. Once the center is operational, new groups of young people can be trained using the same equipment, creating a sustainable model for community digital empowerment.
