We thank you from the core of our heart for your valuable support through GlobalGiving.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organizes awareness programs and workshops at times for the prevention of violence against women and other social evils. Several programs were held under the project that are listed below.

A.  Workshop :- Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors, organized three workhops in distand villages of Pisangan block. In these workhops, more than 100 women and girls participated enthusiastically. Our activists made the participants aware of their legal rights. All women and girls listened them carefully and some of them shared experiences. Among those women, two were the victims of such violent activities who shared their experiences with others. Our activists consulted those two victims which satisfied them with the efforts and got encouraged for further proceedings.

B.  Public Awareness Rally:- In order to make the community aware of social evils, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of the donors, organized public awareness rallies in three distant villages. The main motive of the rallies was to preventing female feticide and to protect girls and women. More than 135 women and girls became part of the rallies. The women representatives played a vital role for encouraging women in the rallies. Their presence made the community aware significantly and delivered a positive message. Women chanted slogans in the streets and roads and delivered message to the society. The women representatives took part in the awareness program appreciated the efforts of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, also Sarpanch and Members of Panchayat of the villages thanked GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors.

C.  Poster making competition and Signature Campaign:- In order to make school girls aware of social evils, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized poster making competition and signature campaign in the remote village Amba. Forty-six students of 8th standard of Government Girls School, Amba particapated in the poster making competition. In the competition, the girls made posters for the prevention of dowry and child marriage. All girls made beautiful posters giving messages to the society and the best student among them was awarded. After the completion of poster making competition, message to keep away from dowry and child marriage was delivered to all the participants which they supported by taking part in signature campaign. The school administration appreciated the efforts of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.

D.  Debate competition:- Rajathan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a debate competition in the Government Sn. Secondary School, Sarana for the prevention of child marriage. The students of 8th and 9th standards took participated in the debate competition enthusiastically. They expressed their thoughts in favour and against of child marriage. The best performer was awarded to encourage the students.
