At Have Hammer Will Travel A.C woodworking school, we know Gender equality for is fundamental to the achievement of human rights and is an aspiration that benefits all of society, including girls and women. The universal advantages of gender equality have been well-documented, and several international frameworks have affirmed its centrality to human rights and sustainable development.

Our special project: For Women and teenage girls. HHWT will help these young Mexican women to provide positive resources for success. HHWT need $9200 dollars for salaries, supplies and tools for 2021 and 2022 semester classes During their time with us, these women will gain life skills through woodworking and Computer Aided Design (CAD) that are necessary for personal and professional skills in life as well as guide these women to continue on to a higher-level education.

Yet, around the world despite the promise of equality, progress towards it has been slow, fragile, incremental, and reversible – and dramatically undermined by the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, in every region of the world, girls and women are still more likely to be poor, illiterate, hungry, unhealthy, underrepresented in leadership positions, legally constrained, politically marginalized, and endangered by violence.

Thank you for partnering to achieve gender equality fir women and girls at Have hammer Will Travel A.C. woodworking school. We raised almost $3000 dollars, to help get our classes started. We started the classes for Women empowerment sept 2021.
