Dear Generous Donors and Supporters,
Greetings from BASS Elderly Meal Centre, India!
We are writing to share a heartfelt micro-project closing report and express our sincere gratitude for your wonderful support toward our micro-project, "Daily Nutritious Meals for 60 Needy Elderly, IND."
Over the past 7 months, with the kind support of 9 compassionate donors, we successfully raised $707 USD toward our initial goal of $1,600 USD.
How Your Support Made a Real Difference
Although we did not reach the full fundraising target, every single dollar raised was immediately put to meaningful use:
Direct Meal Provision: We utilized the entire $707 USD to purchase fresh, high-quality staples—including rice, dal, fresh local vegetables—and cooking fuel.
40 Elders Impacted: With these funds, we provided fresh, hot mid-day meals as well as evening meal supplies in food boxes every day to 40 destitute elderly people at our Pallekona center for a duration of one and a half months (July and August).
Restoration of Health and Dignity: Your support protected these neglected seniors from severe hunger and malnutrition while offering them a welcoming community space where they could gather, meet friends, and feel truly valued.
Thank You So Much!
On behalf of our entire team and all 40 elderly beneficiaries at Pallekona, we extend our deepest "Thank You So Much" for your generosity. You replaced their silent hunger with warmth, nourishment, dignity, and hope.
While this specific micro-project is now officially completed and closed, the need among destitute elders in our region remains critical. We humbly invite you to continue your kindness and support by donating to our ongoing project on GlobalGiving:
