Thank You All for Your Kindness

By Catherine Louise Geach | Founder

Dear Kind Donors,

Thank you all so much from the very first Person to the last, who so kindly and generously donated towards repairing our Classroom.

With your kind help, we raised approximately $1,625 USD towards our goal of $10,000.

Although sadly, we have not yet raised enough to put on a new roof and repair our Mohori Music Classroom building, we shall carefully put these precious funds-raised aside, and continue fund-raising until we have raised the full amount.

If however, we have the great good luck to be given a grant for the full sum for our Mohori Classroom repairs, then we would like to use the funds raised in this campaign, to replace roof tiles on our Main Hall roof and repair the ceiling, after a recent typhoon damaged this roof too. The Main Hall, is used for the practice of Pin Peat Music and Classical Cambodian Ballet.

In all cases, the funds raised will be used appropriately and in the spirit for which they were so kindly Given. Because many of you I know personally, I will keep you updated on our progress.

Through three decades, the most vulnerable of Children have received care and help and Love at our School and through the Healing Power of Music - of their own Traditional Cambodian Music, many Miracles have occurred. Today, those Children of the past who are now grown, some professional Musicians and Artists with families of their own, and All those past and present, remember with gratitude the Music and laughter shared.. It is almost as though the Classroom still resonates with the Sound of their Music.

It is People as yourselves, who help keep our School open and running, allowing us to cherish and provide care for those of our Children who have no one and who have known great suffering and danger.

If you knew of some of the tragic stories we encounter almost daily, the difficulties we face, and yet if you could visit our School, you would know that it is a haven of Peace and of Healing.

On behalf of all my Children at School and my dear Colleagues, we express our Gratitude with all our Hearts,

Catherine
