Christmas, Valentines and Easter gifts for underpriviledged kids!
Dear supporters,
If you are recieving this report, then it means you are one of the generous people who donated towards our Virtual Gift - Sponsor a Child projects.
It all started in December, when we decided to build the first Virtual Gift campaign on Global Giving. We needed to raise funds for the first 24 children of 2014 to attend DAKTARI Bush School in January/February. We also wanted to give something back to you, our supporters, and encourage meaningful giving at Christmas time.
Our Virtual Gift concept does exactly that - rather than just asking for donations to cover the cost of the children attending DAKTARI, we asked you to make your donation on behalf of or in memory of someone else, then if you wanted, we sent you a personalised gift certificate to be given to your loved one.
Thanks to the overwhelming support we recieved at Christmas time, we decided to extend the campaigns for Valentines Day and now for Easter! So far, all of these Virtual Gift - Sponsor a Child campaigns have raised a whoppping $5,377!
It costs $175 for 1 child to stay at DAKTARI for 5 days of education, the full board accommodation, three nutritional meals a day and extra activities like the day trip to a Game Reserve that we give them. So, all of your wonderful gifting has paid for 31 children to benefit from our project this year. Amazing!
Did I mention that you can now sponsor a child as an Easter Virtual Gift? Well you can!

For 8 years we have been working with 5 rural schools in our local villages. We do our best to take every grade 8 child from every school, every year. Continuing to purchase our Virtual Gifts will allow us to keep educating South Africa's next generation to care and love their environment, their heritage, their future.
All that's left to say is a HUGE thank you for all you have contributed so far, your support means the world to us.
Many thanks and best regards,
Amy Hulme - Marketing Manager.
