Christmas, Valentines and Easter gifts for DAKTARI's orphaned animals!
Dear supporters, If you are recieving this report, then it means you are one of the generous people who donated towards our Virtual Gift - Donate to an Animal projects.
It all started in December, when we decided to build the first Virtual Gift campaign on Global Giving. We needed to raise funds to cover the cost of food and care for our animals as well as complete some enclousre upgrades. We also wanted to give something back to you, our supporters, and encourage meaningful giving at Christmas time.
Our Virtual Gift concept does exactly that - rather than just asking for donations to cover the cost of the animals at DAKTARI, we asked you to make your donation on behalf of, or in memory of someone else, then if you wanted, we sent you a personalised gift certificate to be given to your loved one.
Thanks to the overwhelming support we recieved at Christmas time, we decided to extend the campaigns for Valentines Day and now for Easter! So far, all of these Virtual Gift - Donate to an Animal campaigns have raised a whoppping $5,345! These funds have and will continue to pay for fresh and nutritional food for all the animals in our care, cover nessessary vetinery bills, allow for enclosure updates when needed and buy new cleaning equiptment and animal toys. Amazing!
Did I mention that you can now donate to an animal as an Easter Virtual Gift? Well you can! There is a minimum donation amount of just $10. After making your donation, we'll send you an email requesting the name of your gift recpient. When we have received the information, we'll email you your personalised gift certificate - to buy now in time for Easter Sunday, click here!
