With the $200 we received for the library we were able to buy the beginnings of the library as seen in out last report. The Clinic, in the meantime is sponsoring the director of the new Elementary school to learn English and is in class and doing very well. He will, in turn, teach the children English with the help of the new library books.
Learning English will give the children a better opportunity to obtain a better paying job to support their families. It also gives them a better choice of jobs as many require a bilinqual employee. We are excited that the new library will provide the means for the children to excel in their studies to provide for their future.
Thank you for providing a starting place to help the children in the mountains of Aragua.
