This week we had 100 new Sawyer water filter systems donated that will be put in a village near the clinic's location. It is fairly easy to figure out where filters are needed due to our remote medical clinics.
When we do a remote clinic, we always check the water source after most of the patients are found to have a parasitic infection. Usually the water is either downstream from places where people bathe and wash clothing or animals that drink and spend time in the water above the village.
These water filters will be used when one of our medical mission teams arrive from Tennessee. We are really fortunate for all the American volunteers that are willing to help the poor. All we need now is buckets!
Thanks for being on the team.
