Dear DAKTARI friends and animal lovers,
Christmas season has ended and we are so grateful for your participation at this important time of the year. Thanks to your precious support, we raised $1,585!! This is a great news for DAKTARI and the animals, we're all happy because of this beautiful and generous Christmas gift they received! 2015 starts with you! Thank you for that!
The money raised, covers the healthy food and good care that we give to all our wonderful animals at DAKTARI. Moreover, when their familes get bigger, this help is more than welcome.
Indeed, have you heard about our new arrivals and babies these last 3 months? Well, today at DAKTARI we count, a cute baby warthog named Piggy, 3 new adorable meerkats and a young donkey named Surprise… If you missed all of that, hurry up, have a look at the latest DAKTARI Newsletter, clicking HERE. You will know everything!
Let me tell you about the saddest news that has happened at DAKTARI. In the beginning of January we had to say good bye to the most iconic and beautiful creature in our camp, Shiloweni, our leopard. In Africa, when a snake crosses your way it can be fatal. This is the story of Shiloweni, the spirit of DAKTARI, gone but never forgotten. Click HERE to read our article.
DAKTARI knows that there are plenty of animals who, like Shiloweni, need our help and yours. Please continue to support us in our mission.
Special Valentines: our project “sponsor an animal - All we need is LOVE” stays open! Please speak to your friends and family about our missions and project and encourage them to join us and help our animals!
A huge and warm Thank you for supporting us,
From: The DAKTARI team
