Dear Supporters,
we are getting ready for our journey to Mali on wednesday. We will have meetings with the university and other NGO's to work together. Moreover, we have employed two new teachers and a translator (for the women, because they mostly do not speak frensh due to a lack of education).
We will start building selling stables and stables in the villages. We will discuss with the heads of different villages their needs and we will start wit the first educational trainings in chicken breeding at the end of january. We will then help the young participants to have a clear business plan and all the support they need.
We will provide them with a starter set of 15 chickens, the stable and 4 weeks of education. They will learn all they need to know to breed chickens.
Why do we do that? We want the young generation of Mali to be able to provide for themselves. We want to counter hunger and poverty. What better method is there than to help them get self-employed in the agriculture? And of course everything is animal friendly and biological!
We are still in need of more funding. Please feel free to share our project with friends and families and to share it on Facebook and Instagram!
We will be sending you photos once we arrived!
Cheers,
Laura
