We have been very active in recent months, focusing on providing a variety of services and opportunities for our community. We successfully completed our summer camp "Aventura al Sol," with 1,523 young participants who enjoyed enriching activities for their academic, recreational, and personal development. Additionally, we have been preparing for the return to school by distributing equipped school supplies to ensure that our students have the tools they need to start the year successfully.
We are expanding our educational and developmental services for early childhood with the third in-person Literacy Academy. This academy provides teachers and facilitators with tools to teach reading tailored to the needs of students from Kindergarten to fifth grade.
In terms of training, our YouthBuild participants have made significant progress in their construction training, and we celebrate the participants who completed the Medical Administrative Assistant Training Program, reflecting our commitment to eradicating poverty and supporting job search efforts.
Finally, we welcome our new president, Alma, who will strengthen our mission and movement with her leadership. For more details on her vision and future plans, we invite you to read the full article. We continue to work diligently for the future of our community, fostering innovative and impactful collaborations.
