Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,Nothing is going to get better. It's not.” - Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
Thanks to each one of you for being 'someone who cares'. Your donations have allowed us to provide scholarships for each camper in financial need in order for them to attend Camp Shout Out: Youth Who Stutter 2015.
Many of our campers who need financial support have limited resources at home. Often parents notice a significant positive change in their child after the experience at Camp Shout Out.
Just recently we received this email from a parent of a high school student who was able to attend Camp Shout Out because of receiving a scholarship:
“Camp Shout Out is the one place where my son feels like he belongs. It is a space where not only is he working on his communication skills, but where he also has friends. Friends who understand what he goes through daily. My son has been bullied about his stuttering, but when he comes home from Camp Shout Out he sticks up for himself. His confidence soars!”
This family is going to be overjoyed to hear that we will once again be able to offer their child a scholarship for 2015 This would not be possible without your support.
We hope you will continue with us on this journey as together, we help change the world for children who stutter, and help children who stutter change the world!
