Thank you for helping us raise funds to maintain computer access and provide flashdrives to LA Corps participants! LA Conservation corpsmembers would like to thank you for your generosity. LA Corps transition program participants are each receiving free access to a computer lab and flashdrives to store their work and college related documents. With the funds raised we are able to provide flashdrives for seven participants
Your generous donations help fund computer access and media for young adults in LA Corps 7 week employment transition program. The LA Corps employment training program provides computer access to young adults seeking employment and college enrollment. Students are able to maximize productivity and strive for positive outcomes in employment and advanced training with the certainty of having access to a computer with internet access. This support allows students to focus on achieving their career and educational goals while increasing their computer proficiency. Trainings offered in the computer lab include job readiness, career development, driver's education, and social media basics. Participants utilize the computer lab to enhance their professional portfolio and increase employment opportunities.
