Dear Supporters,
4 months ago we launched our microproject to help raise funds for our primary school to include art into the curriculum. We know with the current pandemic fundraising has been harder than ever as funds for many people become increasingly tight.
As our school now returns to a sense of norm with one very special donor to this project we were able to purchase paint, brushes and some starter packs for our grade 1 class to have an art lesson. It was very successful and showcased the importance of providing a varied curriculum to engage all the children. Mental health has also been a huge issue for many children around the world since the pandemic and activities such as art have a proven positive impact on mental health and therefore although this micro-project has come to the end we will continue to offer arts to all grades and you can continue to support our costs of art supplies and making this possible by donating to our township school fund (https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/disadvantaged-children-and-communities-in-cape-town/)
Every donation to all our projects is a step forward to helping us build a world with no issues and equality for everyone. We are glad you are part of our mission and thank you for continued support of Action Change and our projects.
All the very best,
Savannah, Grade 1 Teacher
