Dear Project Supporters,
The fire on March 24th displaced many families from a heavily populated slum called Susan's Bay in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Thanks to your support, multiple families were given food for their families including a bag of rice, one gallon of cooking oil, and a bag of onions.
One of the families who were left displaced by the fire is a family of 9 with 5 school-aged children. The head of the Family, Abdulrahman, said-
Hello, my name is Abdulrahman Ibrahim K. head of the family, victims of the Susan’s Bay community. On behalf of the family, I want to thank the donor of these food items. The donation is very timely and we are grateful for that.
We are grateful for your support that helped Abdulrahman’s family. Please consider supporting other Develop Africa Projects. Please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org with any questions.
Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
